Born in Japan in 1969, of a British father and an American mother, David started life in a multi-cultural environment which he still enjoys today.

His interest in art started in the early 1980s when he met Chamizo in England, who taught him to "see" art (in Spanish ver) rather than just "look at" it (mirar).

His world view developed further at Oxford University, where he studied German and Philosophy. He now lives and works in the UK and Spain, and is currently writing a book on art.
